“I’ve been where you are. I joined federal government straight out of school in 2002, spent six years in operational roles overseas, then went back to the conventional ADF in 2008 across Army, Police, and most recently RAAF. I founded Veteran Life because losing mates to a system that was supposed to look after them wasn’t something I could keep watching. I continue to serve in the ADF Reserve.”

Daniel is the Director of Veteran Life and a Chartered Accountant. He runs the business — both operationally and financially — ensuring the firm operates with the discipline veterans deserve from the people they trust with their claims.

Kate brings 16 years of military service, Defence capability development, and veteran advocacy to her role as Head Advocate. A former Army officer who led teams of 120+ personnel, Kate now leads advocacy practice at Veteran Life with a focus on ethics, integrity, and ensuring veterans are heard throughout the claims process. She holds formal advocacy qualifications and continues to volunteer with the RSL. Outside work — motorbikes, four rescue dogs, poultry, and alpacas.

Nick brings over 15 years across military service, aviation, and Defence industry to his role as Advocate and Head of Policy. A former full-time infantry soldier (2009-2014) who continues to serve in the Army Reserve, Nick became involved in advocacy after navigating his own DVA transition. He holds formal advocacy qualifications and leads VETS Act policy analysis. Outside work — hiking, camping, and canyoning.
